In the heat of a Berlin summer, Rasaq, Hajra, Jazz, and Fanta are chasing their dreams and trying to finally make some “para” — street slang for money. As strong as their friendship is, their paths couldn’t be more different. While a small idea turns into the hottest new spot in the city, each of the women must confront her past and ask herself: how far is she willing to go — for her future, and for her friends?

Para – We Are King , Season 2 is produced by Warner TV Serie and W&B Television, with support from the German Motion Picture Fund (GMPF) and the FilmFernsehFonds Bayern (FFF). Season 1 was awarded the German Television Award for Best Drama and Best Directing, among other honors.
