LILITH STANGENBERG RECEIVES THE ULRICH WILDGRUBER AWARD

The Ulrich Wildgruber Award is a theatre award for the promotion of young actors, which is awarded in memory of the actor Ulrich Wildgruber, who died in 1999.

This award for up-and-coming actors is intended to “promote unconventional talents and help them to continue on their path in a straightforward and uncompromising manner”.

Lilith Stangenberg receives the award at the New Year’s reception in Hamburg’s St. Pauli Theater. “Lilith Stangenberg is an extreme actress in the best sense. What distinguishes her is not only her fascinating versatility, with which she literally crawls into her roles to embody them right down to the tips of her hair,” the jury’s statement said.
